NLUD, National Law University is a young and dynamic law school in Delhi that offers specialized undergraduate and postgraduate courses in law. It has been called as one of the finest law schools of India and is also known to be one of the well known colleges in South Asia. It started in August 2008 after inititation from members of the High court of Delhi to start a good Law school in the capital city.

This one has a good infrastructure, is well know for the placement programs, has dynamic faculties, has always dominated the international moot court competitions. The university is located in the Dwarka Sub City and has a newly constructed campus that has vision entertaining, highly spacious buildings, has a vibrant atmosphere and creates the best ambiance for learning. There are hostels for both male and female students with well equipped spacious rooms, a separate cafeteria that offers good vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and a recreation areas with LED TVs and table tennis equipment. Also the campus has facilities for indoor and outdoor games. Apart from all of this the university provides a high standard education and other form of teachings and training. An immense and elegant three floor library has a collection of about 41,000 documents including books, journals, references covering various topics. A very noticeable feature here is, the student can order any book which will be paid for by the library.

Admissions>> One has to pass the All India Law Entrance Test to join an Undergraduate course (B.A., LL.B. program) in this university. The test is of 90 minutes duration, it will have a set of 150 questions that will be testing the analytical capacity of the student along with general awareness. There would be 5 major subject in focus; English, GK, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning.
>> The admission for PG courses would be done by a written exam conducted by the University follwed by an interview.
>> Admission for Ph.D might be through a written test (The candidates who have qualified for UGC NET / JRF, SLET, and M. Phil. will be exempted from taking the admission test)
